Overview
We are an ambitious startup founded in the Netherlands. Build by a core team of senior web business developers.
Our belief
There is a personal and societal value to understand the history of our homes in a deeper way. Who lived here before us? What circumstances? How has the neighbourhood changed over time? By reliving the past we more deeply understand where we are coming from.
And while macro-history tends to be over-reported it often doesn't really touch us an individual. Meanwhile the micro-history of our homes is where it really touches us and it really matters.
When you understand where you are coming from you will have a clearer compass on building a better future.
Challenges
We also see that current information is shattered across multiple repositories. Mostly in the hand by centralized goverments or historic circles that chose to decide what matters to be stored. While there are clear incentives to maintain the physical history of the home, there are no proper incentives for people to build and maintain the history of their home.
Mission
To solve this we look to partner with historic archives and communities to inspire individuals on our mission:
Help to create and sustain a permanent, decentralized and in detail record of the history of our properties.
To do so we build an infrastructure for homekeepers to store history. We want it to be easy and fun; while ensuring it is sustained and reflects diverse perspectives. Also the ecosystem needs to create personal incentives to build and sustain the history together.
