In 2002, the principals of Z Resorts developed Hotel ZaZa in Dallas’ vibrant Uptown neighborhood. ZaZa quickly became the market leader in occupancy among all Dallas luxury hotels. Since opening, numerous high profile national chains have entered the market in Hotel ZaZa’s backyard. Formed in late 2006, Z Resorts assumed all operations management of Hotel ZaZa Dallas in January of 2007. With Z Resorts at the helm, Hotel ZaZa is the RevPAR leader of luxury, independent hotels in the Dallas market and a top five RevPAR performing hotel in the state of Texas. Due to the exciting success of Hotel ZaZa Dallas, the principals expanded ZaZa’s portfolio into Houston by renovating and re-branding the historic Warwick Hotel. Hotel ZaZa Houston opened in June of 2007 and Z Resorts has consistently increased its market penetration and now ranks in the top tier of all Houston luxury hotels in RevPAR.
