Humacyte is a Durham, North Carolina-based biotechnology company pioneering a revolutionary platform for regenerative medicine.

We are developing and manufacturing acellular human tissues – essentially, bioengineered ‘spare parts’ – that are designed to be universally implantable and regenerate with the patient’s own cells. Our core technology, the Acellular Tissue Engineered Vessel (ATEV™), is a first-in-class, bioengineered human vessel for extremity arterial trauma, recently receiving full FDA approval.
