IDEAS For Us

IDEAS For Us is an Orlando-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and an accredited NGO of the United Nations. Our mission is to develop, fund, and scale solutions to solve the world’s most pressing environmental challenges. Since 2008, IDEAS has been guided by a vision to contribute to a future where humanity thrives in harmony with nature and in peace with one another.

We take action across all branches in the focus areas of: energy, water, food, waste, & ecology. Through this organization, thousands of volunteers have taken action in over 40 countries around the world and continue to evolve by specializing in helping cities advance sustainability at the local level through environmental projects, community action programs, and eco-enterprises.

IDEAS For Us utilizes a unique ‘Hive’ model, connecting neighbors, experts, and partners to identify and implement impactful local environmental solutions. We focus on five interconnected systems that shape a sustainable future: expanding access to clean energy, protecting waterways, promoting regenerative agriculture, reducing waste, and restoring natural habitats.

Together we can accomplish life-changing projects that improve the local environment and communities at-large. The planet faces cascading crises across climate, water, food, waste, and ecosystem degradation. The time for action is now.
