Overview

The IEEE Boise Section is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering technological innovation and excellence within southwest Idaho and eastern Oregon. Serving approximately 450 members, including 60 student members, the section provides a platform for engineers and technologists through five technical chapters – Power and Energy (PES), Electron Devices, Computer, Solid-State Circuits, and Signal Processing/Robotics & Automation – as well as affinity groups like Women In Engineering (WIE) and Young Professionals (YP).

It actively promotes STEM education through its student branches at Boise State University and Northwest Nazarene University, and contributes to the advancement of technology for the benefit of humanity.
