From the Tiber.Co workshops in Asti came out the locomotive E494-508 of Captrain Italia decorated with the Christmas livery. The nice initiative of the freight transport railway company is aimed at conveying a message of hope for Christmas 2021: it’s time to get up again to dream and grow, after a difficult two-year period for the industry and for the whole of Italy. "The train of goodness" is the catchword chosen to name this locomotive that will pull Captrain trains around Italy. The drawings on the livery were made by Emmanuele Panzarini, a Venetian visual artist well known in the field, and enclose, in the side of a locomotive, both the aspects of Christmas: Santa Claus and the reindeer, on a background of decorated trees, indeed, are joined by the logo of the Opera di San Francesco per i Poveri. The OSF is a non-profit organization, born in Milan, that since 1956 has been welcoming and supporting all people in need, thanks to the precious work of many volunteers and the economic support of donations. With "The train of goodness", Captrain paves the road for a new way of communicating for the entire industry in Italy, in a style already widespread among the great European players.
