Independent Musical Productions Inc. is a Huntsville, Alabama-based government administration organization dedicated to preserving and promoting live theatre within the community. For over three decades, IMPHuntsville has been a vital part of the local arts scene, offering a diverse range of productions and fostering a love of performing arts. We are currently focused on securing a new performance space and building fund to ensure the continuation of our legacy. Our organization honors the memory of dedicated individuals who have contributed significantly to IMPHuntsville’s success, including Jamarious Stewart, Kenneth Warren, Caroline Feagley, Steve Stricklin, Kenneth "Ken Daddy" Atkins, Steve Chrisenberry, John Hilchey, Jason Pike, Lee Deal, and Fred Griswold. We provide opportunities for local talent to shine, offering roles in musicals, plays, and cabarets, and actively support the next generation of performers through auditions and volunteer programs. Through our commitment to artistic excellence and community engagement, IMPHuntsville continues to enrich the cultural landscape of Huntsville.
