Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership is a Newark, New Jersey-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem.

We empower champions, mobilize allies, and activate investors to connect underserved entrepreneurs with the knowledge, networks, and capital they need to thrive. Our core mission is to overcome systemic barriers to capital access for women and entrepreneurs from historically excluded communities, creating jobs and wealth in inner-city neighborhoods.

IFEL’s approach centers on building community, fostering relationships, and providing targeted support – from business plan development to investor inclusion initiatives – ultimately driving sustainable growth for small businesses and entrepreneurs across New Jersey.
