InterVol Rochester

InterVol Rochester is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting the world’s neediest to materials, people, and opportunities. Based in Rochester, New York, we repurpose unused medical supplies, reducing waste and benefiting underserved communities worldwide. Our core mission centers on recovering and redistributing vital medical supplies and equipment, fostering volunteerism across generations, and providing medical consultation and treatment in areas with limited access to care. InterVol’s impact extends to over 80 countries and 65 local and national non-profits, supported by a dedicated team of volunteers and staff. Founded in 1989, InterVol has grown from a small garage operation to a recognized leader in medical supply recovery, endorsed by the American Medical Association. We partner with hospitals, clinics, and individual donors to ensure a continuous flow of essential resources, creating a lasting positive impact on global health. InterVol’s commitment to sustainability and community engagement drives our efforts to build long-term partnerships and empower individuals through service-learning opportunities.
