Irvine Community Land Trust

Irvine Community Land Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing secure, high-quality affordable housing in Irvine and Orange County, California.

ICLT works collaboratively with housing developers, corporate partners, and the City of Irvine to acquire and retain land for permanently affordable rental, ownership, and special needs housing. Through a 99-year, renewable ground lease, ICLT ensures housing costs remain low for homeowners while retaining the benefits of traditional homeownership.

Since its founding in 2006, ICLT has created 327 affordable housing units and is committed to building an additional 5,000 homes by 2025, significantly contributing to the City of Irvine’s goal of 9,700 affordable units. ICLT’s unique approach fosters long-term community stability and provides opportunities for working families to achieve the dream of homeownership.
