JANNIS S.A. was founded in 1965, in Thessaloniki, Greece. At that time, the company’s core product was sesame bars. Sesame bars, or pasteli, as it is known in Greece - is a traditional Greek confection with documented origins in antiquity. It is a healthy, natural snack and a rich source of energy due to the high-nutritional value of its two key ingredients: sesame and honey. Today, our company has grown its product offering to meet our customers’ changing tastes and lifestyles. JANNIS offers a wide range of nut- and nougat bars, Greek style delights, and other confectionery products such as coconut sticks. In addition, as our clientele grew internationally, the company adjusted to international market dynamics and created certified biological (organic) products that are gaining a strong foothold both abroad and domestically. Our products are now offered in a variety of sizes and packaging that make them ideal for snacking on the go. Our company’s distribution network now covers all corners of the world.
