Clinical & Medical Negligence Department: Helen Donaghy is the Head of our Medical Negligence Department, based within our Leeds office. Helen is a member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). Before qualifying as a solicitor, Helen worked as a Registered General Nurse with a background in accident and emergency medicine. Helen now specialises in medical law and acts exclusively for those that have suffered life changing injury as a result of medical treatment. Helen deals with all types of clinical negligence and helps people to recover compensation to aid their recovery, and also provides support for both themselves and their family beyond the claims process.
