Over 3 decades ago Kanakia Group began on a simple premise. To build edifices that would go beyond the bricks and cement, and in its place came up those pillars that Kanakia is known for, values that would hold strong long. The integrity to honour commitments. The endeavour to create innovations. Today, Kanakia Group is a diverse business group spanning across Real Estate, Hospitality, Entertainment and Education. At Kanakia, different thinking is a mind-set. We always strive to create structures that become a benchmark in spaces. Over the years, we have developed over 15 million sq. ft. of residential, commercial, entertainment, education and industrial spaces. After establishing our core business in real estate, the group in 1997 forayed into cinema exhibition under the brand name Cinemax redesigning single screen theatres into modern and technologically advanced multiplexes giving all a luxurious film viewing experience. With an interest to induce social progress, we ventured in to the field of education with RBK Education Institution in 2002. Till date, we have six schools across Mumbai and Gujarat, offering the best-in-class infrastructure and an advance approach to teaching methodology. In 2010, we launched Hotel ‘Courtyard by Marriott', marking our entry into the Hospitality venture. This hotel within a short time has been reputed as one of the leading Business Hotels in Mumbai. Today, we operate three hotels across Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Goa. Over the years, the Kanakia Group has been honoured with several prestigious awards such as India's Most Promising Brand, CNBC Awaaz CRISIL CREDAI Real Estate Award, Commercial Property of the Year, International Property Award, MCHI Property Award, to name a few.
