Karsanikos Winery

The winery dominates in the upper neighbourhood of the beautiful and famous for the vineyards of the hilly mountain town of Lefkada island, Karya, which is only 14 km from Lefkada city. Housed in a beautiful traditional stone house, in which the tradition of the famous Lefkadian wine is combined with the modern equipment and technology as well with knowledge and special mercurial. The visit to Karsanikos Winery is a special and very interesting experience. The visitor can see, apart from the modern wine vinification and bottling equipment, the vintage exhibits used in the past such as stone trellis with wooden screw, wooden presses and others. In the specially designed guest room, the visitor can taste our wines, overlooking the magnificent view from an altitude of 550 meters.
