Keep Akron Beautiful

Keep Akron Beautiful is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the beauty and sustainability of Akron, Ohio, and the surrounding region. Established in 1981, KAB works to improve the quality of life for residents through a comprehensive approach to beautification, litter reduction, and community improvement initiatives. Our core programs – including Adopt-A-Sites, Flowerscapes, and the Litter Collection Program – engage volunteers and community partners to address key environmental challenges. We also provide resources and support for community improvement projects, such as the Loan-A-Receptacle program and Graffiti Wipeout Service. With a dedicated team of 20 staff and volunteers, Keep Akron Beautiful strives to create a cleaner, greener, and more vibrant city for all. We are a vital part of the broader Keep America Beautiful network, furthering our mission at the local level.
