Kellas Midstream

Kellas Midstream develops, operates and invests in key energy infrastructure assets vital to the UK's energy security and to unlocking a sustainable net zero transition. We are an independent energy infrastructure company that owns and operates critical midstream infrastructure in the Central and Southern North Sea. Around 40% of the UK’s natural gas production is transported through our pipelines and processed at our large-scale onshore facilities. Kellas won the 2023 Offshore Energies UK 'Outstanding Contribution to Energy Security' award. In partnership with SSE Thermal, we are developing H2NorthEast on Teesside, a project to build a 1GW low carbon hydrogen production facility that will accelerate large-scale decarbonisation of the region's energy-intensive industries.
