Kid One Transport

Kid One Transport is an Alabama-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing vital transportation services to children and expectant mothers, ensuring access to essential healthcare. Since 1997, we’ve been a cornerstone of the community, operating as the sole 501(c)(3) nonprofit of its kind in Alabama and among a select few nationwide focused on this critical need. We bridge the gap in healthcare access for underserved families, facilitating approximately 22,545 rides in 2018 and continuing to serve 43 counties across the state. Kid One’s mission is rooted in a deep commitment to improving the health and well-being of Alabama’s children and families, offering a reliable and compassionate transportation solution that supports their journey to better health. We achieve this through a dedicated team, a fleet of 21 vehicles, and the generous support of donors, volunteers, and community partners. Kid One is more than just a transportation service; it’s a lifeline for families seeking medical care.
