Landfill Rescue

Landfill Rescue is a Manchester-based nonprofit dedicated to diverting organic waste from landfill and transforming it into valuable compost. We partner with local businesses and community groups to collect food scraps and other suitable materials, which are then processed and made available to gardeners and farmers. Our mission is to reduce environmental impact, promote sustainable practices, and build a more resilient food system. We currently serve the Greater Manchester area, providing a vital service to support local food production and reduce the volume of waste sent to landfill. We are expanding our reach and impact through strategic partnerships and community engagement, aiming to become a leading force in organic waste management within the region.
