Life RECLAIM “Landfill mining pilot application for recovery of invaluable metals, materials, land and energy”, is a co-funded project by the EU. Its main objective is to build a pilot LFM unit in Polygyros landfill and explore the potential of the method. At the same time, the project aims at raising the awareness of the public about LFM and opening the discussion with the scientific community, the waste industry and the government.
