Lorraine Music Academy exists to access & promote the rich heritage of World Music to all those who love music and desire to appreciate and play an instrument – bringing music to children, their families and the community at large. Lorraine Music Academy serves the community through education, workshops, recitals, concerts and public performances. Through our workshops, concerts and music outreach programs, we aim to introduce music to every child in every age group. We aim to bring to the students musical experiences and musical memories that will last for a life time. We wish to actively engage the children in interactive learning, listening and appreciating. Through this interaction, we hope to motivate children and create a desire in them for learning music. We have a vision to reach out to the top urban cities across India. A journey that started in October 2009 has now grown to 300+ students, both children (aged 5+ yrs) and adults, learning to play the Piano, Electronic Keyboard, Guitar, Violin, Drums, Singing. Students learn various genres of music. The Academy is based in Gurgaon, National Capital Region of Delhi, India with centres in multiple locations. We follow an international curriculum that effectively helps children learn western musical instruments like the Piano, Violin, Guitar, Drums, Singing, etc. Faculty is headed by Creative Director & Principal, Lorraine Fiona Aloysius, a Licentiate of the Trinity College, London in Pianoforte.
