Founded as an economic development initiative by the City of Los Angeles and Los Angeles Department of Water & Power (LADWP), LACI is recognized as one of the most innovative business incubators in the world by UBI. In the past ten years, LACI has helped 340 portfolio companies raise over $1 billion in funding, $323 million in revenue, and create over 2,565 jobs, and a long term economic impact of $573 million throughout the Los Angeles region.
LACI has been recognized as a top 10 global incubator by UBI and one of the Top 100 Best Workplaces for Innovators 2022 by Fast Company.
