Louisiana Master Naturalists of Greater Baton Rouge (LMNGBR)

Louisiana Master Naturalists of Greater Baton Rouge (LMNGBR) is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to conservation education and service within the Baton Rouge, Louisiana region. As a chapter of the Louisiana Master Naturalist Association, we empower volunteers to protect and restore the natural environment through research-based training and hands-on community science projects. Our mission is to foster a deeper understanding of the local ecosystems and promote stewardship of native plant and animal life and habitats.

Since our founding in 2015, LMNGBR has provided over 100 individuals with the skills and knowledge to become certified Master Naturalists, contributing significantly to conservation efforts across the Greater Baton Rouge area. We offer a comprehensive training program, including workshops and volunteer service hours, to equip participants with the tools they need to make a lasting impact.
