Lovell Stone Group operates and owns six quarries throughout the South West including Purbeck, Hartham Park Bath Stone, Somerset Lias, Chicksgrove & Chilmark, Hurdcott Greenstone & Forest Pennnat (Forest of Dean Stone Firms). The company also processes other British stones, such as Portland and Lincolnshire. A continuing investment programme ensures that the company’s processing works are amongst the most modern in the country and can process stone to the most exacting specifications and finishes. Lovell Stone Group has extensive primary and secondary sawing capacity and a sophisticated tile factory where stone is processed to extremely fine tolerances. A bespoke service offers a variety of surface finishes such as honed, polished, bush hammered or tumbled. Waterjet cutting is also available. Our team of skilled masons and computer-aided design (CAD) capability enable us to produce architectural masonry, cladding and ashlar.
