LSU Communication across the Curriculum

LSU Communication across the Curriculum (LSU CxC) is a dedicated program at Louisiana State University, located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, focused on enhancing the communication skills of all LSU undergraduate students. Since 2005, we’ve partnered with LSU faculty to integrate communication-intensive teaching and learning practices across a wide range of disciplines. Our work supports students in developing essential skills in writing, speaking, visual, and technological communication – skills vital for success in their academic pursuits, future careers, and as engaged citizens. We provide resources and support through both on-campus locations and online services, fostering a culture of effective communication throughout the university. With over 1,097 faculty members having taught C-I courses and engaging over 248,546 students since our inception, LSU CxC is a cornerstone of LSU’s commitment to holistic student development.
