Macedonian Green Building Council

Macedonian Green Building Council (MGBC) is a not-profit organization that serves as a country-wide platform for the promotion of sustainable building practices. The Council acts as a network for all parties involved in the development of the built environment—from architects or materials manufacturers, to financial institutions, academics, national institutions and professional associations. Macedonian Green Building Council trough its activities strive to have impact on sustainable building practices and and environmental protection through awareness raising of professional and innovative sustainable building practices in general. Through the network of international organizations for green building we exchange experiences and information, and provide useful information on sustainability and green building practices for the members of the council, that will be able to apply locally and implement in their current projects and improve the conditions in the Country. It also offers services such as building certification and professional training programs on Green Building.
