Magic City Harvest

Magic City Harvest is a Birmingham, Alabama-based nonprofit organization dedicated to combating food insecurity and reducing food waste within the community. We rescue surplus prepared food from restaurants, schools, hospitals, and other local businesses, delivering it daily to over 30 community partners who provide meals to our hungry neighbors. By diverting edible food from landfills, we minimize environmental impact while simultaneously addressing critical needs within the city. With a dedicated team and a network of 20 feeding agencies, Magic City Harvest provides 1,800 meals each day, offering a vital lifeline to vulnerable populations and fostering a more sustainable and equitable food system.
