Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry is a pioneering nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating hunger and empowering self-sufficiency within Aurora, Illinois, and the surrounding Kane County community. Established in 1957 in honor of Marie Wilkinson’s compassionate legacy, we provide nutritious food assistance to over 12,000 families and individuals each week, including children, seniors, low-income residents, and those facing the ‘working poor.’ Through strategically located pantry sites and community partnerships, we strive to nourish lives and foster a more resilient community. Our commitment extends beyond immediate relief, focusing on education and resources to help individuals achieve long-term food security. We operate three pantry locations – West, East, and a drive-thru service – offering convenient access to essential groceries. With a dedicated team of 7 staff and numerous volunteers, Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry continues to build upon its rich history of service, embodying the spirit of compassion and community support that defines our mission.
