Masters Basketball Association

Masters Basketball Association is a nonprofit organization hosting the nation’s premier Masters Basketball National Championship Tournament in Coral Springs, Florida. For over 40 years, we’ve provided a platform for athletes aged 40 to 80+ to compete in a high-level, NCAA-compliant basketball environment. Our tournament attracts teams and players from across the US, Canada, and beyond, showcasing the continued passion and athleticism of seasoned basketball players. We host five-day tournaments with divisions for men and women, officiated by experienced referees. The 2024 Tournament will take place May 6-11. Our commitment to upholding NCAA rules and providing a competitive and enjoyable experience makes us the leading event in the Masters Basketball community. The tournament draws former NBA players like Tim Hardaway and Billy Thompson, adding to its prestige and attracting a dedicated following.

We are dedicated to celebrating the legacy of Masters-level basketball and fostering a vibrant community of athletes. Our events are held at premier venues like the Marriott Beach Resort and La Quinta Inn & Suites, ensuring a comfortable and convenient experience for participants and their families. We offer a range of activities, including a Skills Challenge and 3-Point Shootout, alongside a memorable banquet.

The Masters Basketball Association’s history spans over four decades, beginning in 1984 and continuously evolving to meet the needs of our athletes. We are proud to be a cornerstone of the South Florida basketball scene and a respected organization within the Masters sports community.
