Matrix Design Group is an employee-owned planning, engineering, and consulting firm that helps communities, governments, and organizations plan, design, and deliver the systems and places people rely on every day. Through a multidisciplinary team of engineers, planners, landscape architects, environmental scientists, and technical specialists, Matrix brings together expertise across infrastructure, community development, federal programs, and environmental services to solve complex challenges and support resilient, sustainable growth. Our work spans transportation and mobility, land and infrastructure planning and design, water resources, environmental services, landscape architecture and urban design, geospatial solutions, surveying, and construction management. Matrix also provides specialized services including program management, Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) consulting, infrastructure master planning, and support for military installations and federal agencies. In addition, Direct Access – Matrix, a disability-led accessibility and inclusive design consultancy, helps organizations embed accessibility and universal design principles into projects across the built environment, infrastructure, and major events. Matrix serves federal, state, and municipal clients as well as private-sector partners throughout the United States and internationally.
