MDT is an Italian engineering company founded by Gerolamo Mussi in 1842; it mainly deals with alcohol projects development for the companies operating in the chemical, pharmaceutical, agro-food and renewable energy sectors. Our society has extensive experience in supplying industrial plants for ethyl, denatured, raw, extra-neutral as well as for absolute alcohol and fuel. In particular MDT is able to provide a wide range of options including modern anhydrification technology based on molecular sieves. By supplying new equipment and specific technical services, MDT is able to renew the existing distillation, anhydrification and concentration units to improve their capacity and to reduce their consumption. The company's know-how derives from the well-known and widely proven professional experience of its engineers based on more than centuries-old tradition of the Mussi family in this field. Starting from January 2020, thanks to the new Property Barison Industry , our company has added to its know-how Barison's manifacture capacity and experience which, guaranteeing the same quality standards that have always distinguished the MDT production, enhances the work being able to directly build all the above plants. Our company is based on the principles of flexibility and reliability, ensuring as much as possible the lowest operating costs. For this reason we follow our customers by offering exclusively "Tailor-made" solutions to attend customer during all process stages. Throughout its history MDT has constantly increased its know-how not only thanks to a constant internal R&D activity, but also by establishing commercial partnerships with the main companies operating in the sector in order to be able to provide end customers with both solutions that concern the single plant section, as well as "turnkey" projejects.
