Meyer Music is a family-owned and operated music retailer with a rich history spanning over 58 years, serving the Kansas City area and beyond. Established in 1966 by educators Ted and Betty Meyer, the company began as a way to supplement their income and foster a love of music in the community. Today, Meyer Music continues this legacy with three locations in Blue Springs, Kansas City North, and Overland Park, each staffed by a member of the Meyer family. We specialize in providing high-quality instruments, rentals, and lessons for band and orchestra programs, catering to students of all ages and skill levels. Meyer Music is also deeply committed to supporting music education through the Band of Angels program, a 501(c)(3) charity that provides free instruments and scholarships to children in need.
