MIDFLORIDA Credit Union was founded in 1954 as the Polk County Teachers Credit Union. We ended our first year with just 273 members and $7,000 on deposit. Today, we have more than 469,000 members and assets totaling more than $8 billion. We take our tagline—Florida's Community Credit Union—to heart.
