Mid-Iowa Council - Scouting America

Mid-Iowa Council - Scouting America is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering character, citizenship, and fitness in young men and women across 27 counties of central and southern Iowa. We provide age-based leadership programs for youth ages 5-20, partnering with civic, faith, and service organizations to instill lifelong values. As a council of the Boy Scouts of America, we focus on outdoor adventure, community service, and physical fitness, equipping the next generation with the skills and values to make ethical choices. With a history dating back to 1910 and a current staff of 28, Mid-Iowa Council is committed to delivering impactful Scouting experiences and supporting the growth of young leaders throughout our region.
