The Missouri State Council of SHRM supports local SHRM chapters and HR professionals across Missouri through leadership, resources, and collaboration. As the official SHRM State Council, we serve as a strategic partner to Missouri’s SHRM-affiliated chapters—offering guidance, communication, and tools to help each chapter achieve its goals. Our all-volunteer board is composed of experienced HR professionals from across the state who are dedicated to advancing the HR profession and enhancing the value of SHRM membership. The Missouri State Council of SHRM follows an annual activity plan that aligns with SHRM’s strategic priorities and recognizes chapter achievements in leadership, innovation, and impact. We coordinate professional development at the state level, support leadership transitions, and serve as the communication conduit among SHRM, chapter leaders, at-large members, and national affiliates. Local SHRM chapters throughout Missouri offer high-impact programs, peer networking, and access to recertification credits through SHRM and HRCI. These chapters operate independently under SHRM guidelines and provide a local forum for HR professionals to learn, connect, and lead.
