Modulus Water builds containerized, zero-carbon desalination systems that go where water is needed — by truck, rail, or sea — and produce drinking water in weeks. The core insight: off-grid desalination has been trying to solve an energy storage problem. Batteries are expensive, heavy, and degrade. We inverted the problem. Store water, not electrons. Run desalination when renewable energy is available, store the product in cheap tanks, and move on. No grid. No fuel. No permanent infrastructure.
