After decades working in a world class university to DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE novel solutions for emerging technologies and processes I chose to branch out and spend 3 years with a medical device start up building the mechanical engineering team designing, developing and working on ultra low noise passive imaging system and then followed with a commercial industrial laser manufacturer. My passion is to develop new solutions enabling technology, projects and start-ups gain traction to progress, taking concept through to product. I have taken the leap to offer a service to individuals looking to develop a concept through to large established enterprises who may not have the in-house capability either through capacity or skill-set to develop a project or part of. I can offer (but not limited to) :- - Turnkey solutions; working with you, determine requirements, concept(s) generation, prototype, drawings for manufacture, manufacture routes, prototype manufacture (manage the manufacture route) and assemble/configure. - Design service, adopting design for manufacture and design for assembly principles. - General engineering - Pressure systems (high pressure > 600 Bar to Ultra High Vacuum) - Heating & cooling systems (refractory to cryogenic) - Process media handling - Proof of concept - Advice on materials selection - Engineering drawings BoMs etc. - Design validation
