Appoint Us Services (Midlands) CIC is a Community Interest Company (CIC) based in Coventry, Warwickshire, working closely with the local community to provide a wide range of person-centred support services. All staff are trained in their relevant areas, hold DBS checks, and are passionate about delivering quality care. The organisation operates several departments: a Social Care Department offering Independent Mental Capacity Assessments, Independent Care Reviews, Welfare Assessments, CHC checklists, Advocacy (including specialist advocacy), and Independent Occupational Therapy Assessments; a Therapeutic Services Department offering Therapeutic Arts (using art, music, textures, photos, dance, Tai Chi) and Pet Therapy; and a Support Services Department providing companionship, sitting services, shopping assistance, hospital inpatient and discharge support, and help with moving accommodation. Appoint Us is a Corporate Appointee approved by the Department of Work and Pensions to manage benefits for people unable to do so, and also offers an Appropriate Adult Service, funeral planning, and access to legal services including Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Court of Protection. Services are primarily delivered in Coventry, Warwickshire, and adjoining counties, but can be delivered anywhere in the UK. Accredited as a genuine Social Enterprise, profits and income are reinvested to create benefits for society and the environment.
