Under his leadership it has grown to employ around 31.700 people with production and sales operations in 19 countries. These include Germany, the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Italy, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania and Israel. In the dairy segment we manage the business of subsidiaries with strong and iconic brands including Müller, Weihenstephan, Sachsenmilch and Käserei Loose. Retail brands and basic dairy products, such as butter, UHT milk, lactose powder and whey protein, complete the portfolio. Activities in the field of convenience food also come under the umbrella of the Group with leading brands such as Homann, Nadler, Lisner. Within the UTM Group, Muller Italy runs its business as a commercial subsidiary in the mass market channel with a premium market positioning. It operates in the FMCG dairy industry with an indulgent, delicious, creamy and nevertheless healthy widespread yogurt range. The company was founded in 1995 and has acquired over the years a leadership position in the traditional yogurt market with a very distinctive, innovative and successful communication and marketing value proposition combined with a remarkably effective commercial strategy.
