Nafasi Fund

Nafasi Fund is an incubator dedicated to empowering Black-led organizations driving social change in their communities. Based in Huntsville, Alabama, we provide a unique model of fiscal sponsorship that prioritizes long-term sustainability and impact. Unlike traditional fiscal sponsors, Nafasi Fund operates with low fees, ensuring that more of the donated funds directly benefit the communities served. We offer tailored administrative support, technical assistance, and a vital space for connection and healing, fostering the growth and independence of our partners. Our mission is to undergird the powerful work of Black-led organizations by connecting them to the opportunities, capacity, and space they need to increase their effectiveness and grow independent. We are committed to addressing systemic inequities within the philanthropic landscape, recognizing that those closest to the problems are best positioned to create and lead transformative solutions.
