NAMI Guilford is a Greensboro, North Carolina-based nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness. We provide no-cost mental health services, support groups, and educational resources to the Guilford County community and surrounding areas.

NAMI Guilford’s mission is to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and advocate for better lives for those living with mental illness. We offer a supportive environment where individuals can find help, connect with others, and access the resources they need to thrive.

As a local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), we are committed to fostering a community of understanding and resilience. We host a variety of events, including NAMIWalks, peer support specialist hours, and educational presentations, all designed to empower individuals and families facing mental health challenges.

Since 1979, NAMI Guilford has grown from a small group of families to a thriving organization serving over 650 local affiliates across the country, raising over $11.9 million through NAMIWalks and providing vital support to countless individuals and families in need.
