Neighborly

Neighborly is a Tallahassee, Florida-based nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the world’s most vulnerable people groups by embodying the Gospel through acts of compassion and tangible aid. Founded in 2009, Neighborly addresses critical needs – including food insecurity, clean water access, refuge for the displaced, education opportunities, and elder care – by providing direct support to those experiencing poverty and marginalization. Operating on a relationship-based model, Neighborly’s approach aligns with biblical justice, seeking to ‘clothe your neighbor as yourself’ and create spaces where the transformative power of the Gospel is experienced through all five senses. With a team of 8 staff and a dedicated leadership council, Neighborly extends its impact both domestically in the United States and internationally in Kenya, demonstrating a commitment to holistic community development and fostering genuine connection with those in need. The organization’s initiatives, such as the Breakfast Brigade, Church Partnerships, Jubilee Marketplace, and School Partnerships, represent a multifaceted strategy for addressing systemic poverty and promoting dignity and hope.
