New York State Pollution Prevention Institute (NYSP2I)

The New York State Pollution Prevention Institute (NYSP2I) is a collaboration of five research universities and manufacturing extension partnerships across New York State, sponsored by New York State’s Department of Environmental Conservation and led by the Golisano Institute of Sustainability at Rochester Institute of Technology. We provide businesses, communities, and nonprofits with the practical tools, resources, and solutions they need to achieve sustainability, driving positive change for the economy, environment, and society. Our team of engineers and sustainability specialists offer customized solutions and educational resources, focusing on areas like Sustainable Manufacturing Assistance, Supply Chain Sustainability, Green Technology Accelerator, Food Waste Diversion, and Life Cycle Assessment. We are dedicated to helping organizations across New York State reduce their environmental impact and build a more sustainable future through cost-effective, implementable strategies.
