After too many years to speak of working in large city firms and in small high street firms, founder Anna Newport decided that she had seen quite enough focus on revenue and billing targets and not enough interest in clients and their needs. Its not that we don't charge for our work, but the important bit is the service, the listening and the advising, all given on an individual basis. One size does not fit all. Newport Land and Law looks after the bread and butter stuff, the day to day, the mundane: houses, shops, small business, wills, probate, powers of attorney. Most law firms do this in some form or another of course. The difference for Land and Law is that we actually give a stuff about the end users, the real people who are moving house, and having babies, and buying small shops and writing wills and dealing with the loss of their family members. We are lawyers, its true. But not ordinary ones.
