Nina’s Laundrette has had a home in St Georges Road Northcote for over 50 years. It began its life as a sewing and full laundry service, supporting Melbourne’s textile industry in Fitzroy. Soon after the year 2000 Nina’s transformed into a self service laundromat. Though over the years the owners have changed, Nina’s name stayed with the business. We are children of those who immigrated to Australia from the 50s-80s. We want to capture and honour the collective spirit of all the hard working women who immigrated to Australia during this time. We don’t know who Nina is, but we know that she and her friends helped to build the culture in Northcote and Melbourne’s Northern Suburbs. Our Services Self-Service Laundromats Our Northcote laundromat is located at 267 St George’s Road, Northcote. We are open from 7:00 AM - midnight 7 days a week, including Public Holidays! Our Laundromat has a wide variety of Dexter commercial washing machines and dryers that cater to all needs. Whether you are visiting to complete your weekly wash, or you have washing for your business, you can get your laundry done at Nina’s Laundrette. Our store is easily accessible, we free parking right outside the store. Options to pay by cash, card or credit, the choice is yours.
