Overview
NOA started in 2007 in Vienna with a simple belief: brands can do more than sell. They can connect, inspire and create meaning. In just a few years we expanded into five cities in Western markets — Vienna, Belgrade, Zürich, Berlin and New York — working with some of the world’s biggest brands such as Coca-Cola, Absolut Vodka and other Pernod Ricard brands, Henkel, Samsung, the World Bank and the City of Vienna.
By 2017 we felt it was time for a shift. Marketing alone was no longer enough. We wanted to understand people and organizations more deeply, so we began to bring in perspectives from anthropology, sociology, philosophy, psychology and cognitive science. Working closely with global brands, private equity and startups taught us how brand, business and human systems interact and where they break.
After two decades of this journey it became clear where organizations fail. They break when they no longer fulfill the meaning people are looking for and instead begin to drain them. In 2025 we did the necessary adaptation. Evolution has always been NOA’s principle and we adapt when the time and humanity demand it. Together with our team we co-created Organizational Thinking™, a practice that aligns human understanding with business strategy and executive knowledge of organizations. It is the update that allows humans and systems to breathe again, moving organizations from fragmentation back into coherence.
Today we apply Organizational Thinking™ to guide organizations and societies toward Human–System–Centricity™, ensuring that people and systems evolve together and thrive in a changing world.
