North West Reserve Forces' and Cadets' Association

North West Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association (NW RFCA) is the leading organization dedicated to supporting and promoting Reserve Forces and Cadet organizations throughout North West England and the Isle of Man. We provide vital facilitation, support, and advocacy for the Army Reserve, Royal Navy Reserve, Royal Marines Reserve, and the Sea Cadet Corps, Air Training Corps, and Combined Cadet Force. NW RFCA’s mission is to strengthen links between these organizations and their local communities, fostering understanding and appreciation for the invaluable contributions of reservists and cadets.

With a membership exceeding 150 experienced professionals, including commanding officers, military personnel, and representatives from local government and businesses, we champion the interests of these vital volunteer groups. NW RFCA also manages a significant estate of training facilities, including Altcar Training Camp and numerous Cadet huts, ensuring access to essential resources for training and development. We are committed to fostering a thriving volunteer environment, empowering individuals to serve their communities and country with confidence and dedication.
