Novabiosis, Inc is a leading provider of isolated human primary cells and biological materials, based in Durham, North Carolina.

We specialize in supplying researchers with ethically sourced, non-transplantable human organs and tissues, obtained through a unique network of partnerships with 31 of the 55 CMS-regulated Organ Procurement Organizations (OPOs). This allows us to offer unparalleled access to both healthy and diseased samples, including internal organs, skin, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), synovial fluid, and processed or snap-frozen tissues.

Novabiosis transforms complex biological material into ready-to-use research solutions, utilizing our expert cell isolation team to produce high-viability primary cells – cryopreserved and rigorously quality-controlled to ensure reproducible, early-stage research. Our services support advancements in cell biology, hepatocyte research, and more.

Founded in 2021 and currently employing 8 staff, Novabiosis is dedicated to expanding the precious gift of organ donation by minimizing discard and accelerating scientific discovery.
