Ocean Optics is a US-based provider of miniature spectrometers and advanced photonics systems, serving researchers, OEMs, and industrial customers.

For over three decades, we’ve pioneered compact spectral solutions, initially driven by a need for a miniature spectrometer for marine pH sensors. This led to the creation of the ‘world’s first miniature spectrometer’ in 1992, fundamentally changing how spectroscopy is utilized.

Today, Ocean Optics continues to innovate, offering a comprehensive portfolio of spectrometers, including microspectrometers, versatile spectrometers, and high-sensitivity models, alongside specialized systems like LIBS metal analyzers and Raman spectrometers.
