Old North State Council, Scouting America

Old North State Council is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to youth development and character building, serving families in the greater Greensboro area of North Carolina since 1910. We provide a structured and enriching environment for young people, offering programs like Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, and Venturing, fostering leadership, service, and a love for the outdoors. Our commitment is to prepare the next generation to make ethical and moral choices throughout their lives.

As one of the most prominent and historically rich Scouting Councils in the nation, we serve eight counties across central North Carolina, ranging from Mebane to Mocksville and everywhere in between. We focus on building strong communities and empowering young people to become responsible citizens.

Through engaging programs, dedicated mentorship, and a strong emphasis on safety and inclusivity, the Old North State Council strives to make a lasting positive impact on the lives of Scouts and their families.
