Orlando Minority Youth Golf Association

Orlando Minority Youth Golf Association is a nonprofit organization based in Orlando, Florida, dedicated to introducing minority youth, ages 6 to 18, to the sport of golf.

Established in 1991, the OMYGA provides a comprehensive program designed to equip young people with the skills and character traits necessary to succeed both on and off the golf course.

Our three-pronged approach combines engaging lectures and life lessons focused on self-discipline and personal development, hands-on training sessions at local golf courses, and opportunities for competitive play. We strive to transform lives through the game of golf, fostering a sense of self-esteem, motivation, and direction in our participants.

OMYGA’s mission is to provide a positive and enriching experience for inner-city and urban minority youth, offering them a pathway to personal growth and future success.
